As a third-culture kid, home has never been just one place. It’s a feeling I chase through time, through scent, through passed down rituals, and heirloom pieces. I find it in the aroma of whole cloves simmering in Cream of Wheat, in the rhythm of dough hitting hot oil in my grandmother’s Trinidadian kitchen, in the echoes of UB40 playing at my family's pool parties in the '90s.

These moments—fragments of a life woven between cultures—became a calling. A longing to capture the essence of home, to recreate the joy, connection, and beauty that shaped me. And from this, Safta was born.

Safta is a lifestyle brand dedicated to slowness, ritual, and community. It is a landing place for the things that bring us back to center—back to the home within ourselves.
